Cedar Montessori School LLC Home Page

Cedar Montessori School is a one-of-a-kind Montessori program located just off Barbur and Terwilliger in Southwest Portland. With a maximum enrollment of sixteen primary children and twelve toddlers Cedar Montessori School offers low teach child ratios. Cedar Montessori School is run by three experienced teachers, all holding Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) teaching certificates and masters in education.

Our teachers work in partnership with our families to foster a community devoted to the guiding principles of an authentic Montessori education. The staff's distinctive cooperative spirit and the school's small size allow the teachers to ignite a child's potential while guiding each child's evolving developmental needs.

By housing an Infant Montessori, Toddler Montessori and Primary Montessori program all within one school, Cedar Montessori School offers families the rare opportunity to experience over six years of educational continuity in one nuturing community.
